Special Someone

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well here we are the last day of 2016, what a year this has been, a lot of ups and downs but what fun I have had.

Next year is going to be a fabulous year what with being on the design team for Canvas Corp Brand as well as Stamps by Me, I have something exciting to share with you in the new year too!

So to finish off this year I am sharing a vintage card.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card base which I have matted and layered pink pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered patterned card onto the pink card.
3. Added lace along the bottom from my stash.
4. Matted and layered image which I distressed with DI ground espresso onto pink card.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Love to Shop

A busy day here getting all my cleaning done as well as washing and ironing.

I can't believe that this year is drawing to a close and it will be 2017 in one more day.

Every woman loves to shop and I just love this image by Elisabeth Bell.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 square white base card.
2. Matted and layered Blissful Cocoa and Pink paper which has been distressed with DI vintage photo onto base card.
3. Matted and layered a strip of pink card with Cocoa paper.
4. Matted and layered image onto pink card.
5. To finish off added the sentiment and metal shopping bag charm.

Travel

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A nice chilled day today, hubby is off so we are meeting up with Brother and Sister-in-law for lunch.

Only a couple more days left to this year, it sure has gone very quickly.

A male card to share.


Step by Step

1. A6 cream base card.
2. Matted and layered patterned paper from stash and distressed around edges with DI ground espresso.
3. Wrapped key ribbon which has been distressed with ground espresso around paper before adhering to base card.
4. Added the vintage card and Travel sentiment.
5. To finish off added the compass metal charm.

Teddy and Me

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all?

Do you still have your teddy from when you were a child?
I do and he is very thread bare but I can't part with him.

This little girl loves her teddy too.


Step by Step

1. A6 white card whith corners punched with X-cut corner punch.
2. Matted and layered two patterned papers from First Edition Boho, wrapped ribbon around before adhering to base card.
3. Distressed around the image with DI carved pumpkin before adhering to base card with foam pads for dimension.
4. To finish off added the sentiment and metal bow charm.

Off to the Ball

Hubby is back to work today so I might get in the craft room and do some colouring.

Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 black square card.
2. Matted and layered pale pink patterned paper.
3. Added the white lace (this I got in Turkey) with pink pearl trim along the top.
4. Matted and layered image onto black card and adhered to card.
5. To finish off I added the black feather and pearl cabochon and silver metal corner.

One in a Million

Did you all have a good Christmas and was Santa good to you?

I was totally spoilt and got lots of crafty goodies, jewellery and other nice presents off my wonderful Rick as well as family and friends.

Step by Step

1. DL white card base which I have matted and layered copper pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered patterned card from stash and wrapped ribbon around both layers before adhering to base card.
3. Added the image which I have distressed with DI aged mahogany.
4. To finish off added the ticket ephemera from my stash.

Merry Christmas

A scheduled post as of course today is Christmas and sharing today with my wonderful Rick and our fur babies Tiggy and Fluffy.

This time of year is a very difficult time for those who have lost loved ones and to you I hope that your day is as bearable as possible and sending you all lots of gentle hugs.

Monochrome Christmas

WOW Christmas eve already, a busy day here today getting all my washing and cleaning done before Santa makes his appearance tomorrow.

We are having a quiet Christmas with our fur babies, what are you all doing?

Step by Step

1. DL white linen card.
2. Stamped the image onto white pearlescent card with Versafine black onyx and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
3. Matted and layered topper onto black card.
4. To finish off I added white organza ribbon with a ribbon charm before adhering to base card.

From a Dress to a Butterfly!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

WOW 2 days until Santa arrives, this month has flown by!

Well we are as ready as we are ever going to be, what we haven't got now we will have to do without as there is no way I am going out today or tomorrow that is for sure.

All presents have been delivered so today is going to be a chill out day before Christmas cleaning is done tomorrow.

A nice summery card to share today using another of the stamps designed by Toni over at Stamps by Me.  This stamp is called Butterfly Stitch


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square scalloped edge white card base.
2. Matted and layered lilac dotty card along with the floral paper from my stash.
3. To create the butterfly from the dress stamp I masked the top part of the dress and inked with Versafine, before stamping removed the mask and stamp, repeat the process marrying up the stamp to meet the first stamped image.  I used Black WOW embossing powder and set with heat gun.
4. I then proceeded to colour the image using Generation INX re-inkers in purple and orange, once dry cut around the butterfly and adhered to base card.
5. To finish off I made antennae by using white flower stems and curling around my pokey tool. Added 3 pearl gems down the centre of the body of the butterfly and added a sentiment.

Santa's on his way

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

We are off to see my parents today before Christmas so an early start.

Another Christmas card to share with you today using some of Mike's digi downloads.


Step by Step

1. A5 white card base which I have matted and layered gold pearlescent card.
2. Matted and layered the music paper onto gold card.
3. Wrapped deep red and gold ribbon around before adhering to base card.
4. Added the Santa topper and made a double bow to add to the ribbon.
5. To finish off added the date topper and pearl cabochon to the centre of the bow.

Cute as can be...

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today. 

Winter Solstice today which means that it is the shortest day and the nights should start drawing out again.

A cute card to share with you today.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped edge base card.
2. First layer is brown card cut out with decorative circle die.
3. Second layer is blue card cut out with decorative circle die.
4. Distressed the image with DI ground espresso before adhering to base card.
5. To finish off added the heart waste from the die cut, made a double bow with satin ribbon and added the heart button to the centre of the bow.

Step by Step

1. A5 white card which I have matted and layered mirri card.
2. Matted and layered 2 different LOTV Frosty papers.
3. Matted and layered topper onto mirri card and added stickles on the topper for snow.
4. Along the strip of paper I added lace and pearl trim.
5. To finish off I added the laser cut tree and the sentiment.

Wedded Bliss

Have you all had a wonderful weekend?

Sharing with you a wedding card today.

The ruffled ribbon with pearls, flower which was created using lace and the leaf were all from Gone Artsy.  The store is closing down tomorrow so your last chance to get some bargains.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white scalloped square card.
2. Matted and layered papers from my stash.
3. The topper I have distressed around the edges with DI Victorian velvet.
4. Along the bottom added the ruffle ribbon with pearls, and the flower I made using lace, leaf and cabochon. 
5. To finish off I added glitter to the flowers on the image.

I attended the last journaling workshop yesterday for this year!

I have learnt so much from attending these workshops but also made some lovely crafters who have become friends too.

Today another Christmas card, sorry but it has to be done! I have used Poinsettia Pixie.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 white card base.
2. Matted and layered paper from Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas paper.
3. Printed image onto Make it Colour blending card and coloured with Copic Markers.
4. Matted and layered image onto black card before adhering to base card.
5. To finish off matted and layered sentiment onto black card.

Joy to the World

Another week that has flown by.

A Christmas card to share with you today.

The image and papers were from Mike's store, check out the link to see some of his fabulous downloads.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 scalloped square green card.
2. Matted and layered Kraft card which has first been embossed with Ivy embossing folder and then distressed with forest moss.
3. I then matted and layered the musical paper which was distressed around the edges, wrapped cream and gold ribbon around both layers before adhering to base card.
4. Added the image which has also been distressed around the edges.
5. To finish off I added the robin with sentiment and gold gems.

Fabulous

WOW 10 days until Christmas day!

What are your plans for today?
I am finishing off a couple of projects for the New Year.

I have a new post over on my Mixed Media blog if you have time to visit.

A new card to share using another of the beautiful stamps designed by Toni over at Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 Kraft Card which I have matted and layered yellow card.
2. To create the topper I first stamped image onto white card with Generation black INX. I then water coloured using Generation INX re-inkers in yellow and purple. Once this was dry I then distressed using the yellow INX pad. 
3. Matted and layered topper onto brown card.
4. Stamped 5 of the small flowers and water coloured using the above colours, cut out and arrange at the bottom corner.
5. To finish off I made a double bow and added a yellow flower and bling cabochon.

Season's Greetings

What are you all up too today?

Kath is coming today for a crafting play day, this will be the last one for this year.

A Christmas card to share with you today.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card from Anna Marie Designs
2. Matted and layered red pearlescent card and paper from LOTV Christmas paper.
3. Added a band of green Christmas paper along the bottom
4. Matted and layered topper onto red pearlescent card which was cut out with SB Grande Scalloped Circle die. Added Stickles to the image as snow.
5. To finish off I added the laser cut sleigh, double red bow and sentiment.

Vintage Diorama

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

Christmas cards are all written and sent off, just got hubby's presents to wrap and all done here.

A new card to share with you today.

Step by Step

1. Cut 2 pieces of white pearlescent card 8 x 8 inches, score at half and one inch on either side.
2. Cut out an Oval shape using the SB Grande Oval die and then cut another oval using Blissful Pink paper.
3. Matted and layered paper from the Blissful Cocoa paper on the inside of the diorama and then the oval paper, before adhering both 8 x 8 squares together.
4. To decorate I used floral lace, rose bling cabochon and leaves from Gone Artsy to create the flowers.
5. To finish off  matted and layered the image onto brown card and added the butterfly.

Lady in Black

A vintage card to share with you today using lace from Gone Artsy, Deb is shutting her store on the 20th December. Hop on over to get yourself some bargains.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white square card which I have matted and layered black card.
2. The next 2 layers I have distressed around the edges with DI black soot.
3. The frame I distressed with black soot and adhered the picture to the frame and matted and layered to base card with foam pads.
4. Along the bottom I added the shell lace from Gone Artsy with pearl gem trim.
5. To finish off added the flower which again is from a set from Gone Artsy.

Oh Christmas Tree

Another Christmas card to share with you today using IndigoBlu's Dinkie Christmas tree stamp.


Step by Step

1. Gold pearlescent 6 x 6 square card.
2. Matted and layered green distress card.
3. Stamped the tree onto cream card with DI peeled paint then embossed with clear embossing powder.
4. Coloured baubles with Wink of Stella in gold before adhering to base card.
5. To finish off I added some faux stitching with the gold Wink of Stella brush.

Pink and Pearls

How are you all today?

Saturday once again and usual house chores to get done as well as wrap presents all ready for me to play Santa the week before Christmas.

Today I am sharing with you today another of Stamps by Me wonderful lamination stamps.


Step by Step

1. A5 Landscape white card turned to create tent card from Anna Marie Designs.
2. Matted and layered pearlescent shocking pink card and watercolour card which I have stamped the head of the flower from the Enjoy stamp set with Generation INX fuschia again first and second generation stamping.
3. Matted and layered pearlescent shocking pink card.
4. Created the topper by stamping the image with dark grey and pale pink ink the using the lamination stamp stamped in fuschia and light green. Stamped the sentiment with fuschia.
5. To finish off added pink pearl gems.

Wonderful Friend

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Family and Visitors

All Christmas cards are written and sent out, just got the wrapping presents to do.

Another couple of videos to record today, mixed media projects to get done 😉

Today's card is made using Stamps by Me Stamp and Sentiment set.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card from Anna Marie Designs.
2. Matted and layered yellow and lilac card to base.
3. Created the topper by distressing the background with DI squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac and cracked pistachio, I then dried with heat gun before stamping image with Generation Inx sketch white, I then stamped the image again using Archival so it give as shadow of white. I did the same for the sentiment too.
4. To finish off I added the bow and green gems to the corners.
