Delightful Digi's

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Oh my word the last day of May! This month as just flown by!

Last week Emma asked me to colour up a couple of her new digi's.

These are from the O-Sew-Sweet Collection and can be found on the Delightful Digi's blog.

My first card is made using O-Sew-Sweet Pansies


I have coloured with my Copic's and matted and layered onto purple mirri card.

Ride a Cock Horse...

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Have you all had a good week!

Going to be getting my clothes etc all ready for my holiday and hoping to get some crafting done too.

Today is a stepper card using another of Elisabeth Bells toppers from Hobby House


Step by Step

1. Using white pearlescent card I created the centre stepper card.
2. I then cut out 2 layers one in white and one in pink pearlescent card using a SB die
3. The image has been distressed around with DI Victorian velvet and matted and layered with foam pads.
4. The heart lace is from Gone Artsy which is beautiful.
5. I then made 2 bows with pink organza ribbon and added pearls to the centres.
6. To finish off I added the sentiment, flowers and the butterfly.

Gone Artsy DT Project

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visistors

Today I am sharing my DT project for Gone Artsy

The theme for May was Military

My card is made to honour all our service men and women all over the world!


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card.
2. The papers and topper are from a CD (can't remember the name)
3. I added brown and green seam binding from the Gone Artsy Shop
4. I added 3 "tree of life buttons" to finish off

The medal is my husbands who served the first time around in Iraq.

Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

An early post this morning as off to see my parents.

I hope you all have a wonderful day
Thank you all so much for your visits and comments I really do appreciate you all!

Today an Elisabeth Bell topper from Hobby House.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card with corners punched with X-cut corner punch.
2. First layer is green polka dot card and I have matted and layered  floral paper.
3. Before adhering them to the base card I wrapped cream ribbon around the bottom half of the card.
4. I distressed a doily with DI tea dye and the topper was also distressed around the edges before adhering to the card with foam pads.
5. I made a double bow with ribbon and added a pearl gem to the centre.
6. To finish off I added a small gold dragonfly and the birthday sentiment.

Gone Artsy May Wedding Project

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today I am sharing my May DT project with you for Gone Artsy.

The theme was Military!

Well I sure was stumped with this one so I decided to create a bride's beret.

May is synonymous with remembering all the military men and women  who gave their lives so we can have our freedom today both here and in the USA. 


The embellishments were bought from Deb's Gone Artsy Shop.

On the beret I have used the following products.
GA291 - Brooches 5 in the pack
GA55 - Pack of 2 Ostrich Feathers
GA76 - White pearl beaded ribbon

Butterfly Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Have you all  had a nice weekend.

I spent yesterday crafting and getting quite inky fingers. I had a play with my new stamps and dies.

Today's card is made using the Fairy Magic card kit from Lelli-Bot.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have cut across the front diagonally.
2. On the inside of the card I have matted and layered black pearlescent and butterfly paper.
3. On the front of the card I have matted and layered black card wrapping white ribbon around before adhering to card.
4. I matted and layered the topper onto silver pearlescent card cutting out with SB Scalloped oval.
5. To finish off I added the black roses, bow, butterfly charm and sentiment from the kit. I then attached a black and white butterfly and white butterfly.

Sewing Room

Good Morning Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

I have a very good productive day yesterday.
Today I am going to be playing with my new crafty goodies.

Another tag to share today!  I love haberdashery crafty items, even though I am very new to sewing!


Step by Step

1. 10 in tag which I covered with tissue paper. I used Fresco Finish in Tangerine, Bora Bora and Blue Oyster, then stamped using stamps from the HP1213 Paper Artsy stamp sheet using Snowflake.
2. I then stamped the bodice and word with Archival Coffee ink pad. The button cotton reel was stamped onto Kraft card cut out and decoupaged onto the tag.
3. The tape measure was in my stash and the wooden cotton reel I wrapped Baker's Twine around before adhering to the Tag.
4. I then threaded Baker's Twine through 3 of the buttons and adhered them to the card.
5. To finish off I threaded tape measure ribbon and another ribbon with a sewing theme.

Into every life...

Good Morning Crafty Friends Followers and Visitors

Happy Sunday to you all!

We had a fabulous day yesterday with my granddaughters.

Well my card definitely reflects the weather we are having here in Warrington this morning!
Typical bank holiday weather!

A card today using a stencil from Clarity Stamps


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered navy blue card.
2. The next layer I painted with Fresco Blue Oyster acrylic paint, I then stamped the rain drops and once dry I brayered the images which are a Clarity Stamp stencil with Silkies Royal Satin.
3. Once this was dry I outlined the images with black Micron pen, distressed the edges and the base of the image.
4. On a piece of white card I stamped the sentiment which is a Sheena Douglass A little bit sketchy range. 
5. To finish off I added glossy accents to the raindrops.

Clementine

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all keeping?

We are going to see our granddaughters, Alice and Florence today.
Bank Holiday weekend too! 

Today I have used one of Elisabeth Bell's stamps called Clementine.


Step by Step

1. DL white card turn on its side to create a landscape card.
2. Matted and layered white polka dot card and floral paper.
3. I stamped Clementine onto supersmooth card and coloured with Copics, I then cut out with Labels 29 then glittered around the edges and drew some hearts and glittered. I then matted and layered onto base card with foam pads.
4. Using white pearlescent card I cut out the fence and butterfly.
5. To finish off I added 3 pearl gems.

Exciting News to Share

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I would like to thank you all for your comments while I have been on my travels.
I really appreciate all the support and inspiration you give me and I hope you enjoy your visits.

The journey home was a nightmare, it took me 6 hours to get home instead of 5!
Did I mention I HATE the M6!  Anyway got home safe and sound and slept like a log last night!

Today I have some really exciting news to share!

I have been asked to join the new World Wide Open Design Team which is 
sponsored by Sherri Ann Baldy

The new challenges start in July!


Here is a card I made using Banna Pie New Dress


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 White square card which I have matted and layered purple mirri card.
2. The second layer is patterned paper from my stash.
3 I printed the image onto supersmooth and cut out with SB Curved Rectangle die, The image has been coloured with Copics. I distressed around the image with DI Shabby Shutters I then matted and layered onto green card.
4. I cut out the bunting using lilac card and the heart has been distressed with shabby shutters too.
5. I then added leaves, roses and green stamens to the centre of the heart and a gem butterfly.
6. To finish off I added green flat back gems.

A Rose is a Rose...

Last day in Sudbury today before I head back up North.

Today's card is made using Kraftyhands Paper and Postcard Stack.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 Kraft deckle edged square card.
2. Using 2 of the papers from the English Country Garden paper pack I matted and layered to base card.
3. The Postcard has been distressed with DI tea dye and matted and layered onto Kraft card.
4. I made a bow with some lace and added a ribbon rose to the centre.
5. To finish off I added a metal corner.

Object d'Art

I have used a new product from ARC on my project today it is wood paper and is fabulous!

Step by Step

1. White DL card which I have matted and layered Distress card from Tim Holtz which has been distressed with vintage photo and brown ribbon wrapped around the bottom.
2. I stamped the image from Inkylicious onto a piece of the wood paper with Versamark, embossed with gold embossing powder then distressed around the edges.
3. The topper was then matted and layered onto brown card.
4. To finish off I made a double bow with brown ribbon and added a rose cabachon to the centre.

Lace and Pearls

A quick card to share as another busy day in the office.

What do you have planned today?

My card today is using papers and toppers from Kraftyhands.


Step by Step

1. I created an easel card using 7 x 7 cream card.
2. On the base of the card I have embossed cream pearlescent card then matted and layered floral paper.  
3. To act as the stopper for the easel I have attached lace and a string of pearls.
4. For the front of the card I embossed another cream pearlescent card and added a piece of the paper which resembles crackled wood.
5. The toppers have been matted and layered onto pearlescent card.
6. To finish off I added the pearl flourish and 3 pearl gems.

Classic Beauty

Oh my word came on this morning to discover more comments had been deleted!!!! How the heck is this happening, am I doing something wrong?  If it is one of your comments I am sorry I do love reading your comments they make my day.

Anyway Monday morning and back to work after a relaxing weekend.

I have had a lovely weekend and managed to colour up some images, just need to make cards with them now.

Today a vintage card for you as I know you all love them!


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream card which I have matted and layered gold pearlescent card.
2. The next layer is paper from the Hunkydory Antique Chic paper pad.
3. I then added lace along the bottom.
4. The image is from Kraftyhands Femme Fatal Topper kit which I have distressed and matted and layered onto gold card then  matted and layered with foam pads to base of card.
5. To finish off I added the ticket sentiment from Polkadoodle and the metal leaf and flower with watch face in the centre.

Shabby Chic

How are you all today!

I bought the last of my bits and bobs for my holiday to the USA yesterday.

Just over 2 weeks to go and I will be on my way so excited.

Today I have a shabby chic card to share with you.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card.
2. The papers and postcards are from Katy Sue Shabby Chic CD.
3. I matted and layered 2 of the backing papers down, and a doily from my stash.
4. I then adhered the post cards which have been distressed with DI.
5. I then added the metal corners and made the bouquet from an assortment of roses from my stash.
6. To finish off I added the dragonfly and sentiment.

A Little Love

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Family and Friends.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Off out to the Range and Hobbycraft this morning for a mooch.

Today's card is made using another of Mitzi Sato-Wiuff's gorgeous digi's this one is called Valentine Girl.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream square card with corners punched.
2. First and second layers are pink pearlescent card and patterned paper from LOTV Country Lady papers.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copics, I then cut out with SB Stately Circles and matted and layered onto red card.  This was then adhered to base card with foam pads for dimension.
4. I cut out the butterfly using SB Papillion dies with pink and brown card..
5. To finish off I added the sentiment, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, added the metal leaf, made a double pink bow with organza ribbon and added a heart pearl gem to the centre.

Beautiful Daughter

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

YAY it is Friday!

A lot of work to do today and then relaxing weekend ahead.
No plans to do anything as such but got quite a few DT projects to make.

Have a good day whatever you are doing.


Step by Step

1. A4 Pearlescent card scored to create an A5 landscape card.
2. First layer is pearlescent card embossed and yellow ribbon wrapped around before adhering to the base card.
3. The next layer is purple mirri card cut out with SB Labels 29 die and positioned at an angle.
4. I printed the image onto super smooth cut out with above die and distressed around the edges.
5. To finish off I added yellow butterflies, daughter sentiment, made a double bow with purple ribbon and added a pearl button to the centre.

Art is just another...

Thursday already! Where is the time going?

What are you all up to today?

My card today is made using some of my new goodies from the weekend.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 Kraft deckle edged square card
2. First layer is embossed pink card which I have added faux stitching around.
3. The topper was made brayering Silkies Red Satin onto white card, once this was dry I stencilled the words using white acrylic paint. I then stamped the Dramatic Eye by Limor Webber from Indigoblu with black Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.
4. To finish off I added black and white polka dot ribbon.

Embrace the Adventure

How are you all today!

As usual a quick blog post before I start work!

I must say I am really enjoying my new job, lots of challenges just the way I like and I learn something new almost everyday.

Today's card is made using Sherri Baldy Image 827


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered vintage card from Anne Marie Designs.
2. I distressed the lace before wrapping around the first layer.
3. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copics then cut out with SB Grand Oval die. I then distressed around the image with old paper.
4. I matted and layered the image onto blue card which was cut out with SB Scalloped Oval die.
5. To finish off I added the metal flower with the blue pearl dazzler and the words from Tim Holtz Chit Chat words.

Time 4 Tea Flower Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?
What are you all up too, I have a busy working day ahead!

Today I am sharing a card I made using one of Jo's little fairies from Time 4 Tea Designs.


Step by Step

1. White pearlescent card scored to create an A5 landscape card with corners rounded with punch.
2. First and Second layers polka dot card and purple card.
3. I attached white lace along the bottom half of the card.
4. I printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copics, I glittered her wings and around the oval edge of the card which was cut with SB Oval die.
5. To finish off I added a metal leaf, daisies and the birthday sentiment.

My First Jofy Tag

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Follower and Visitors

Oh my did I have fun yesterday playing with my new goodies.

I treated myself to some of the fabulous Fresco Acrylics from Paper Artsy and they are fabulous, my new love I think! I also treated myself to one of the JOFY stamps! 

I hope you like my first tag using these products.


Step by Step

1. I painted the 10 inch tag with Fresco Finish Tangerine Twist.
2. Once dry I stencilled some spots with Snowflake.
3. I stamped the scene using stamps from the JOFY 11 using Coffee Archival ink, I stamped the butterfly and flowers onto another piece of card, painted then decoupaged the butterfly wings and flowers.
4. I then painted the grass with a mixture of Bora Bora and Caribbean Sea.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment "Have a beautiful day" and lemon and pink ribbon, then distressed the edges with DI spiced marmalade.

A Special Mum

Happy Mother's Day to all my USA/Canadian friends
I hope you all have a wonderful blessed day!

This card is dedicated to you all!


Step by Step

1. White square card cut out with SB Scalloped Circle Die.
2. Pink card cut out with SB Circle die and then matted and layered a doily distressed with bundled sage DI.
3. The topper has been adhered to card with foam pads for dimension.
4. I wrapped the ribbon and pearl trim around the topper.
5. To finish off I added a butterfly and the sentiment "MUM"

Happy Anniversary

A quick post this morning as I am off to the Happy Stampers Show at Ellesmere Port.
So excited as I am usually demonstrating but this time I actually get to shop!
No list just going along to see what catches my eye!

Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 cream card which I have matted and layered gold mirri card.
2. The next layer is paper from Prima matted and layered onto the gold card.
3 I stamped the image with Versafine Vintage Sepia onto white card and embossed with clear embossing powder, I then paper pieced her dress. I then distressed around the image with vintage photo DI.
4. The topper was matted and layered onto gold card.
5. I added the cream lace along the bottom before placing the topper.
6. To finish off I added the anniversary sentiment, metal leaf and paper flowers which have been distressed too.

Well it was a miserable day here up until about 3 o'clock then we had blue skies and lots of sunshine.

What are you all up too today? I have done the HW and shortly I will be starting work!

Today a baby girl card to celebrate the birth of our new princess Charlotte!


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card with corners punched with Xcut corner punch.
2. The first layer is white pearlescent card which I have wrapped pink ribbon around before matting and layering onto the base card.
3. The topper is from Hobby House which I have distressed around the edges with DI Spun Sugar and matted and layered onto pink glitter card with foam pads which has been cut with SB Scalloped Labels 1. 
4. The sentiment has also been distressed with Spun Sugar.
5. To finish off I added a double bow, a pram charm and pearl flower gem to the centre of the bow.
