Thank You!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Where has this year gone?
It sure has gone by quick but it has been a fabulous creative year for me!

I am so looking forward to next year as for the first time I am off to America to meet my DT friends from Gone Artsy in June. I am so excited I can't begin to tell you!

This year also sees my husband having his 60th birthday, 20 years we have been together and I can't believe how time has flown, but they always say "time flies when you are having fun" and I sure have!

Today my card is a "Thank You" for each and everyone of you!
Thank you for your comments, visits and support and I look forward to sharing more of my work with you all next year!


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have matted and layered paper from First Edition Rose Garden, I have distressed with scissors and Vintage Photo.
2. I cut a strip from Prima Pixie Glen paper pack and distressed with Vintage Photo.
3. I then cut out the paper with the bird and clock and distressed with weathered wood.
4. The topper is from my stash which has also been distressed with Vintage Photo.
5. To finish off I added the corner, metal leaf, blue and cream roses and a thank you tag.

Exciting News

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

We are off to see our Granddaughters today, it will be Alice's 4th Birthday on Thursday and we can't believe where the time has gone. So looking forward to spending the day with them.

Well what a way to finish 2014 which has been an exciting year in more ways than one.
As you know I was guest designer for Gone Artsy well as off January I will be a permanent member of the Design Team, I am so excited to be part of this team as they are super talented.

A little bit Vintage

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Have you all recovered from the festive celebrations?

First time in my craft room today since Christmas Eve and just contemplating what to do.
I have a few DT projects I need to make a start on so I think I will start there.

Today's card is a little vintage card I have made.


Step by Step

1. Card base is a centre stepper card.
2. The topper has been distressed with scissors and inked with DI Vintage Photo I then matted and layered onto dark red card which has also been distressed with scissors.
3. In the top corner I added a metal corner and on the bottom the sentiment.
4. Down each side I added lace from Gone Artsy and pearl flower gems, the lace has been distressed with Tea Dye.
5. To finish off I added the flower which again is from Gone Artsy.

Feathers and Bows

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Oh my word Santa sure was good to me, I hope he was good to you too.

My lovely Hubby bought me the rest of my Copic Ciao's so I have the full set and the carry case for them too. I also got lots of lovely gifts off family and friends.

Today's card is used using Lelli-Bot Crafts Fairy Magic Card Kit


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card which I have matted and layered dark silver pearlescent card and punched all corners with X-cut corner punch.
2. The next layer is from the card kit and I have used Green Spica glitter pen to highlight some of the areas.
3. The topper has been matted and layered onto dark silver pearlescent card and again I have coloured the leaves with Green Spica glitter pen.
4. The sentiment has been cut with a circle punch and matted and layered with foam pads.
5. To finish off I added the white feather from my stash, the buttons, ribbon rose, black ribbon and butterfly are all from the card kit.

Elisabeth Bells World Challenge - December

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Merry Christmas to you all I hope Santa has been very good to you all!

He has been very good to me and I got lots of lovely crafting goodies, smellies, and clothes.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog

This month the theme is Special Shaped Cards



Step by Step

1. Labels 1 shaped white card
2. I cut out 2 pink hearts using X-Cut heart dies and placed them slightly off the card.
3. The next layer is silver patterned card cut into a square and the corners punched with X-Cut punch.
4. I stamped the image which I won from Elphine House onto Supersmooth card and coloured with Copics. I then cut it out using Labels 1 SB die, then adhered to card with foam pads for dimension.  Around the image I added Liquid Pearls and Stickles.
5. I then cut out pink snowflakes with SB Snowflake die and added Liquid Pearls to the centres.
6. To finish off I added the sentiment, gems around the heart, a double bow and heart pearl gem.

Faithful Friend

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well one more sleep and Santa will have been.
Last minute jobs to do around the house today and then I can relax.

Today is for all of you who visit and leave comments I class you as my friends.
Merry Christmas


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card.
2. First layer is from First Edition Rose Garden.
3. The second layer I have cut diagonally in half and matted and layered onto the first layer then added pink lace across the join.
4. The mannequin topper is from Kanban, I have added lace and beads across the waist band and pearls for the necklace.
5. To finish off I added 2 flowers which have been distressed with tattered rose, one placed over the top of the mannequin. I added 3 heart gems and the sentiment.

Digi Bells DT Post

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Today it is my turn to share my project for Digi Bells.
I have used Elisabeth Bells Forever Friends Digi which you can purchase here.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square card which I have cut the front of the card in half.
2. I have matted and layered on the inside of the card with pink pearlescent card and paper from LOTV Country Lady papers. I then added lace, leaves and flowers and a pearl flourish to the corner.
3. On the front of the card I have matted and layered to replicate the inside of the card.
4. I printed the image onto supersmooth card and coloured with Copics and then cut out with Spellbinder Labels 26 and matted and layered onto pink pearlescent card and attached to the front of the card.
5. To finish off I added the gem butterfly and the pearl swirl.

A Man's Best Friend

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Family and Visitors

How are you all doing today, oh my only 2 more days until Christmas.
This year sure has gone by so quickly and I am so looking forward to next year!

Today my card celebrates our pets, I myself am a cat lover (my dad always said I was a witch, in the nicest possible way of course) but a lot of people love their dogs so today is for all dog lovers.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card, I scored the centre of the front of the card and folded back. I also punched all the corners with Xcut corner punch
2. On the inside of the card I used paper from Prima "the Optimist".
3. On the the front panel I used paper from Prima Nature Garden collection.
4. The topper is from Kraftyhands and is from their Femme Fatale range which has been matted and layered onto gold pearlescent card.
5. To finish off the card I attached a Birthday sentiment inside the card with Prima pearl flourish. On the front I added a Prima paper rose.

Heart of Gold

Good Morning Crafty Friend, Followers and Visitors

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, last one before Christmas.
Well I am all done now, a few last minute errands to run this morning.

An altered heart to share with you today, this I started at Kath's a few weeks ago and finally finished at the weekend.


Step by Step

1. The heart is from Ooh-la-la Vintage Treasures which is covered in canvas, I painted the with sand acrylic paint and stamped script over the bottom half of the base.
2. Using dots stencil I used brown with beads over the stencil and left to dry.
3. Once this was dry I then used Versamark around the edges of the heart and added Taupe Fran'tage embossing powder and sprinkled glitter over before it set.
4. To decorate I added to metal leaves and added lilies and roses which have been distressed with gold ink.
5. To finish off I added gold gilding wax to the bird and a flourish to the base of the heart and cord for hanging.

Birthday Fairy

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

All Christmas card making items have been put away for another year!
I spent yesterday making some birthday cards for a change and really enjoyed it.

I have decided to make a list of things I want to try to create next year, if like me you say "oh I must try that" and never get around to actually doing anything well next year I am going to tick off a few of these items off my list.

Today's card is one of my favourites, I love fairies.


Step By Step

1. 7 x 7 square white card, I have placed a doily which has been distressed with DI Dusty Concord.
2. The next layer is paper from Prima Pixie Glen and First Edition Rose Garden adhered together the top layer I cut a 3rd of the way down and curled the side back to reveal the paper underneath and distressed with DI Shabby Shutters.
3. The Fairy image is from Hobby House Wee Toppers and distressed with Shabby Shutters then matted and layered onto lemon card.
4. I adhered pearl trim and a Wild Orchid Crafts Lily which has been distressed with Dusty Concord
5. To finish off I added a dragonfly chard and attached Baker's twine to make a bow. Added the Sentiment and green flat back gems to each corner.

Christmas Wishes

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I have a few errands to run this morning and then into the craft room to get some of my DT work started for the next year.

Today's I am sharing the card I made for my lovely husband.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square card with corners punched with Xcut corner punch
2. First layer is gold pearlescent card, the second layer is white pearlescent card embossed with Tattered Lace Snowflake embossing folder but debossed, just for a change. I wrapped gold ribbon around both layers before matting and layering onto the base card.
3. The next layer I cut out using gold pearlescent card to match the topper which I have glittered the fur on her coat and the snow.
4. I added a pearl strand, flowers with pearl beads and red roses, I added Stickles Frosted Lace to the roses.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and gold flat back gems to the 4 corners.

Love is like a Butterfly

A busy day ahead catching up on some admin work after my week of playing Santa!

I hope you all have a lovely day! 

Today's card is made using Kanban topper from blog candy I won.


Step by Step

1. I folded an A3 piece of cream pearlesent card and cut out the shape using SB Grande Scalloped Circle.
2. The first layer is purple card card which I embossed using Embossalicious Floral Folder then cut out using SB Grande Circle die.
3. I then attached the outer of the topper and added pearl gems to the scallops.
4. I the sprayed the topper with Spray and Sparkle Silver glitter and adhered to card with foam pads.
5. To finish off I added a butterfly from my stash and cut out 3 butterflies using Tattered Lace butterfly dies.

Be Yourself!

Good Afternoon Crafty Friend, Followers and Visitors

Both my parents are keeping well and I had a lovely visit with them.

I have also been to see my friend Jennifer too, she is well also.

My card today is made using stamps and stencil that my lovely friend Kath aka Mucky Paws has


Step by Step

1. A6 scalloped white card.
2. First layer has been created using the Wavy Stencil and distress ink Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac I then cut out with SB Labels 29 die.
3. I then cut out a smaller white piece of card using the above die and stamped the sentiment from the Just Saying Stamp Set with  Imperial Purple Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I also used the flourish from the Hessian Collage stamp set again stamped with Versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then distressed with Shaded Lilac and matted and layered with foam pads for dimension.
4. To finish off I stamped the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Mini stamp set with Imperial Purple Versafine onto vellum and embossed with clear embossing powder then cut out and adhered to the card.

Timeless Christmas

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I am off to see my parents today, doesn't seem 2 minutes since my last visit.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

A Christmas card to share again today.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square white card.
2. First layer is Kraft card which I embossed using Die'sire Vintage embossing folder, I then dry brushed Inca Gold over the top.
3. Using SB Timeless Rectangle I cut out cream pearlescent card, stamped the Indigoblu sentiment and embossed with Distress Embossing powder in gold.
4. Using the poinsettia and fern die by Tattered Lace I made 3 poinsettias and added a gold flourish under the top poinsettia.
5. To finish off I made a double bow with gold organza ribbon and added a gem to the centre and red gems at the bottom 2 corners.

Kitty Cat

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

I am off to visit my lovely friend Kath today.  No crafting just catching up and exchanging Christmas presents.

As you all know I love my kitties, Tiggy and Fluffy and thought I would share a photograph of them.


This is a rare moment of them snuggling up together as Fluffy torments Tiggy who is the elder of the two.
What do you think of my fur babies aren't they so cute?
They were the inspiration for my card today.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square card which I have punched the corner with X-cut corner punch.
2. The first layer is mirri card which I have coated with Inkadinks, I then stamped the paw prints.
3. The topper is from Kanban and Fluffy can often be found sat in a plant pot whether there is a plant in it or not LOL. I matted and layered onto purple satin mirri card cut out with SB Scalloped Circle die.
4. The sentiment has been matted and layered onto satin mirri card using SB Decorative Circle die.
5. To finish off I added the ribbon which is from my stash.
