To Dream

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A busy day here today so far, I have done the food shopping and a bit of housework before I could even think of getting into my craft room.  How has your morning been?  I have a bit of work to get done this afternoon which will run into tonight too.

So before I get stuck in I thought I would show you another project I made yesterday whilst at Kath's for our crafting session.  Again the inspiration for this canvas came from October's Craft Stamper (page 23) by Elizabeth Borer's Vintage Wall Hanging.

Recipe

1. 8 x 8 square canvas which I have painted with purple acrylic paint. I then distressed the edges of the canvas with Lilac PanPastel
2. Corrugated card was painted white and I have added lace and bead trim.
3. The image is from Paper Artsy which I matted and layered onto white card and placed at an angle onto the card.
4.  Using Tim Holtz flower die I cut out flower shapes to make 2 large and a small flower using purple and white card.  Using Papermania paper pack I cut out the leaves using Spellbinder Foilage Dies.
5. I added beaded gems spray in clear to the large flower below the image and to the top left I added a small and large flower with leaves and purple beaded spray.

Cold and Frosty

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

A busy morning so far, what with shopping and taking care of my new baby kitten I have had an early start.  Lots of crafting to get done here today and only a week left before the NEC show.  I am so looking forward to meeting a lot of my Facebook and Blogging friends after being friends with you all for so long.  It will be lovely to finally meet you all!

Today I have another Christmas card using Imagination Craft's products.  Sorry but I will be showcasing a lot of Christmas cards as I still have quite a few to do.  Hubby's is done so I am happy with that but not going to show you :)

Recipe

1. Centura pearlescent A4 card scored to create an A5 Landscape card.
2. I have matted silver shiny card onto the base.
3. The Topper is made using Evening Watch Stencil onto snowflake patterned card and Sparkle Medium in silver and Diamond.
4.  The flower and leaf are MDF charms which I have inked with Versamark and dusted over with Blue and Green Mica Powder.  I have added a pearl gem to the centre of the flower.
5. I have added the sentiment tag from my stash and punched snowflakes.

A Gift for You

Good Evening Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I have had a brilliant day today crafting with Kath and managed to do 3 projects, one of which I am showing you tonight.

My inspiration came from the Craft Stamper October issue magazine on page 23 by Elizabeth Borer Rose Box.  Here is my interpretation.

Recipe

1. Painted a wooden box with cream acrylic paint then stamped around the edges with Ivy stamp from Sheena Douglass' Little bit Magical stamp set and painted with Bundle Sage Distress Ink. I then distressed the edges with Vintage Photo.
2. I tore up some corrugated card and painted with cream acrylic paint.  I then stamped Script Background from Indigo Blue with Brown Stazon onto the card.  I wrapped beige ribbon and lace around the corrugated card and adhered to the lid of the box.
3. I the used Tim Holtz flower and leaf dies and stamped the leaves with the script, dipped the flower into UTEE.
4. The beads I made into bows and arranged the stick pins and adhered the rose and leaves.
5. To finish off I added a resin rose inked with Brown Stazon, a metal corner and cut out a tag die inked with vintage photo and added "Memories" from Tim Holtz Chit Chat book.

Time

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I am off to Kath's today for our weekly crafting session.  We are making a canvas today and maybe altering a box.  Really looking forward to today very much.

I just want to let you know that Precious has settled in really well and at the moment Tiggy is tolerating being followed by a little one.  She make me laugh every day with her antics and last night they both sat with us on the couch, Precious on daddy's knee and Tiggy in between the both of us.

Here is my card for today which I made for last night's one word challenge over on Mad Crafter's Giggle Facebook Group.  The word was "Time".

Recipe

1. White 6 x 6 square card made into an Easel Card.
2. I have backed Dark Blue card with paper from my stash which I had distressed with Vintage Photo.
3. The clock topper is also from my stash which I have distressed with Vintage photo and matted and layered onto mink pearlescent card.  I have added a watch face and mechanism to the topper.
4.  I have stamped the large and small watches from Visible Image Time stamp set with WOW Blueberry Embossing Powder then distressed with vintage photo.  I stamped Time from the set and embossed with the same embossing powder as the watches.
5. On the inside of the card I have matted and layered watch paper distressed with vintage photo. The stopper is a strip of card I have wrapped Baker's twine around and adhered to the base with foam pads.  I then added the smaller watch with Pinflair.
