Pretty as a Picture

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Did you have a good weekend? Rick and I had a wonderful weekend, starting with friends for a meal on Saturday and then yesterday meeting up with my design team colleagues from Stamps by Me.

Toni and her husband Tim made it a very special event and just before Christmas too.

Today a vintage card to share with you, the lace is from Gone Artsy.

Gone Artsy is shutting down on the 20th December and have some fabulous deals on all their products.  Hop on over and get yourself a bargain.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 cream square card with corners punched with x-cut corner punch.
2. Matted and layered pink damask paper from my stash which I have distressed around the edges with DI walnut stain.
3. The image I have attached to the oval frame which I distressed with walnut stain and matted onto script paper.
4. Along the bottom added cream lace with a rose cabochon in the centre.
5. To finish off I added to metal corners.

Monochromatic Christmas

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Happy Sunday to you all!

I am off to Wakefield to meet up with my Stamps by Me DT colleagues, so excited to be meeting some of them for the very first time!

I have had a lovely week and it sure has gone by very quickly.

A new project over on my mixed media blog, I do hope you will hop on over and leave some love! Thank you!

Today another Christmas card using IndigoBlu Christmas sentiment stamp.


Step by Step

1. Silver pearlescent 6 x 6 square card.
2. Embossed white pearlescent card with Nordic snowflake folder wrapping black and silver ribbon around the bottom of the card.
3. Stamped the sentiment onto silver pearlescent card with Versafine Onyx black and clear embossed.
4. Matted and layered onto the embossed card.
5. To finish off added 4 silver pearl gems to the corners and a double bow with a pearl gem on the centre of the bow.

Vintage Baby

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Saturday already and not long now until Christmas Eve, how scary is that!

A busy day as usual household chores to do and we have visitors this evening for a meal.

Today a vintage baby card to share.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 cream square card.
2. Matted and layered brown and pink card, distressed around edges of pink card with DI vintage photo.
3. Distressed around edges of double sided patterned paper from stash with scissors and then with vintage photo.
4. The image is from Studio Light which I have again distressed with scissors and vintage photo.
5. Added lace along the bottom and the cute teddy bear.
6. To finish off I added the heather and tiny roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Mixed Flowers

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

YAY it's Friday!

What are you up too today?
A nice quiet day today, trying to finish off a couple of Christmas presents that I am making for family and friends. A visit to the hairdressers too for a trim and colour.

Today I am sharing a card using another of the fabulous floral stamps by Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 white square base card from Anna Marie Designs.
2 Matted and layered Black card.
3. Stamped part of the Mixed Flowers stamp onto each side of the white card and coloured with Generation INX re-inkers. I stamped the sentiment with Archival ink.
4. On a sheet of white card I stamped the flowers again and cut them out to decorate the card.

Trend Setter

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well the 1st December and only 24 more days until Santa is here.

Another busy day with lots of samples to do.
What are you all up too today?

A new card to share with you all today.


Step by Step

1. 5 x 7 scalloped white card.
2. Matted and layered pink mirri card and blue patterned card.
3. Wrapped mink coloured organza and satin ribbon around both layers before adhering to card.
4. Printed image onto Supersmooth and coloured with Copic Markers.
5. Matted and layered image onto brown card.
6. To finish off added brown leaf and flowers from my stash.

Tulips to Celebrate

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

I am off to see Kath today, we have both been so busy we haven't seen each other for ages so really looking forward to catching up.

A new floral card to share with you today using another of the lamination stamp sets by Stamps by Me


Step by Step

1. White DL card which measures 21 cm by 10 cm.
2. Matted and layered yellow pearlescent card.
3. To create the topper I stamped the tulip from the Hooray lamination stamp set in Archival Ink.  I then water coloured the leaves and petals with Generation re-inkers in yellow and green. Once this was dry I the added yellow and green splats around the image. Before matting and layering I distressed around the topper with green inx.
4. Wrapped green organza ribbon around both layers and added a double bow.
5. To finish off I added 3 yellow pearl gems.

Christmas Bells

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Time sure is marching on and only 3 more Monday's before Christmas.

I hope you all had a good day yesterday, I got a few projects made and lots of admin.

Today a Christmas card using Elisabeth Bell's Christmas Bells digi.


Step by Step

1. A5 white landscape card turned on its side to create a tent card.
2. Matted and layered red pearlescent card and checked card from my stash.
3. Printed the image onto supersmooth and coloured with Copic markers, cut out with SB Grand Scalloped rectangle die. Around the image, the cloak and top of her boots I have added Woodware Fluffy stuff and glitter to the hem of her dress and bobbles on the boots then matted and layered onto green pearlesent card.
4. I added white lace along the bottom and pearl snowflake trim.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment.
