Family

Good Morning Crafty Friends

I am feeling a little better today, hoping to keep some food down me today.

You all know I love Tim Holtz, lets face it who doesn't!
Well yesterday I managed to get a ticket to one of his workshops in September, an early birthday present to me as my birthday is the day after.

Today I have used on of the Tim Holtz Etcetera small wooden tag to create this project.

Step by Step

1. I adhered Tim Holtz tissue paper to the back and front of tag then gave it a wash with Gesso, once this was dry I stencilled either side of the tag the brick wall stencil with modelling paste.
2. Once this was dry I used Distress Paint Vintage photo and gave it a colour wash again both the back and front.  Once dry I then went over with Distress Oxide Peacock feathers.
3. The door hinge and Family have been distressed with vintage photo paint, once dry distressed with DO peacock feathers adhered door hinge to the top of the tag.
4. Cut out the suitcases and then added the paper dolls as well as different ephemera from my stash along with a pen nib and some string before adhering "Family"
5. To finish off I added seam binding and made a bow out of different fibres but turned the bow upside down so the tails where stood up.

I hope you are well, not feeling too good today, I have that tummy bug that is going around. Back to bed for me I think! Have a good day.

This afternoon Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 4.00 pm

She will have the new Synergy Dies on which are just fabulous and cut card like butter!

Here is another of my samples using the Best Wishes Die

Step by Step.

1. Scored an A4 piece of white pearlescent card to create and A5 card.
2. Matted and layered red and black card.
3. Cut out 3 of the tags and sentiment using the above die.
4. I then positioned them using my Eureka 101 close together and stamped the image with Versafine then embossed with clear embossing powder. Then using the watercolour palette added Generation Re-inker in Red to water colour the flowers.  Once this was dry I then adhered to the base card separating them so they had a border around then.

Loving Wishes - Easel Card

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How is your week going so far?

So far I have managed to get quite a bit of  DT work done and need to do a couple of videos now.

Tomorrow Toni from Stamps by Me is on Create and Craft at 4.00 pm with some brand new Synergy dies

Here is one of my samples using the Loving Wishes die.

Step by Step

1. I created an 8 x 8 easel card with white base card.
2. On the base of the card I have matted and layered lilac polka dot card. I then cut out the 2 layers and sentiment with white card.  The inner layer I have distressed with Generation INX purple and adhered sentiment to the centre.  This will act as the stopper for the easel.
3. I matted and layered another piece of polka dot card, then matted and layered white pearlescent card.
4. Using my Eureka 101 stamped the Mixed Flowers stamp with black Versafine and embossed onto water coloured card. I then water coloured the flowers with Generation INX reinkers in purple and green.
5. To finish off I added the double bow with a pearl button to the centre and added the dragonfly.

Flower Girl

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

Today I am sharing with you the last of my projects I created over in the USA when I was staying with my friend Deb.

This canvas I have called Flower Girl, I have used a stencil called Face II from Indigo Blu

I painted a 5 x 7 canvas with black acrylic paint.
Using modelling paste I stencilled through the face.
Stencilled leaves around the face with one of Deb's stencils with green paint.
Using an assortment of blue and white flowers adhered around the image.

Many thanks for visiting today.
